We need to halve our energy intensity, use renewable supplies, and embark on process improvements across all industries. Setting a target and developing a plan to decarbonise are essential to achieving a successful transition to a carbon neutral future.

Climate Active certification is suited to large sporting clubs, national sporting organisations and all large stadium events. Climate Active certification is proof towards a claim that your club, organisation or event has achieved net zero emissions. This level of certification involves measuring emissions, reducing wherever possible offsetting the remaining emissions, and publicly reporting your achievements. In particular, large events and organisation have a leadership role to play, and publicly displaying actions which are verified as Climate Active is a vital piece of this.
